Contact UsThe AN12C is an AC speed control switch (speed control board) for variable speed regulation in AC motor applications. It is used in electric tools, small appliances and motor-driven equipment, and fits AC-powered power tools when it is wired between the trigger switch and the motor.
The AN12C supports AC 250V with a 6(6)A rated current and a rated power range of 50-550W. It is certified to IEC/EN 61058-1, the switch standard it complies with.
The AN12C is an IP00-rated board, designed for integration inside sealed tool housings that provide the additional protection. It should therefore be mounted inside the machine enclosure rather than exposed.
The PCB measures 68 21.4 mm, with a thickness of 1.5 mm and a height of 20.5 mm. Four leads are used: black 16AWG (live input), red 16AWG (live output), white 20AWG (neutral common) and blue 20AWG (neutral input), wired to AC 250V.
Speed is adjusted continuously with the rotary dial, so the operator can match cutting and sanding speed to the material. The control performs AC speed regulation across the rated power range of 50-550W.
